In April 2011 Ford Model Monica Watkins, Founder Of Art In Motion, was sponsored by Haiti's Hope and Friends of Hope Int'l. to visit the Diakonos Orphanage in Port‐au‐Prince and conduct art workshops with the children. "POU SOLÈY LEVE" exhibit pieces will be auctioned on this site, with all proceeds going toward essential supplies like beds, food, school tuition, and continued art education at the Diakonos Orphanage. The artistic expression of those with the odds stacked against them is the essence of our collective humanity. In the face of adversity, the human spirit can shine more brightly than ever. Ms. Watkins is on a mission to help shine that light on the healing power of art, community, and charity.
